Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.ĭisconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. The carriage moves to the ink cartridge access area. Slide your fingers into the two slots, and then gently lift up to open the ink cartridge access door. Locate the slots on the left and right sides of the printer. Press the Power button to turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
